Frequently Asked Questions
Why would my loved one need in-home care?
If you notice a change in functioning such as a decline in health, falls, inability to effectively take care of themselves (ie unable to bathe, groom, missing appointments or medications), decline in being able to maintain household needs such as cleaning and laundry, or other similar concerns, please contact us!
What insurances pay for the services?
Medicaid, PASSEs (Empower, Arkansas Total Care, Summit Community Care, and Caresource), and VA plans typically cover the services, but reach out to our office so we can check with your specific insurance carrier. Unfortunately, traditional Medicare and Medicare Advantage Plans do not cover these services, but services still may be covered if Medicaid is your secondary insurance.
What areas do you provide services?
Our central office is in Searcy, AR. We have access to caregivers in a large area surrounding Searcy and encourage you to contact us with your specific location and we will work to assist you in providing services.
What type of services can you provide?
We provide non-medical personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, dementia/Alzheimer's care, toileting/incontinent care, mobility assistance, feeding assistance, skin care, light cleaning, meal preparation, companionship, respite care, medication reminders, specialized support, and other services based on individual needs.
How do I set up services?
Contact our office and we can work very quickly to provide personal care services and assess you or your loved one's individual needs. Services may be able to be provided within 24 hours depending on the situation. Our care team will return inquiry calls or messages within 24 hours during normal business operating days.
Do you offer private pay services?
We absolutely can provide private pay services! Contact our office to make arrangements.
If my personal care aide or caregiver is sick or out, can I still receive services?
There will most certainly be a time that your personal care aide or caregiver is out due to sickness or other normal circumstances of life such as emergencies, vacations, etc. If and when this occurs, we will contact you to schedule a temporary replacement or discuss alternatives based on your comfort level.
